Five Favorite Tips for Clean Eating Success

Do you need a little push in the right direction to stay on track with your clean eating plan?  Here are 5 of our favorite tips for revving up your program:

  1. Buy the freshest, most attractive vegetables. Experiment and try some new choices.  Have you tried parsnipsButternut squash? Delicata squash?
  2. Have at least 2 bags of frozen fruit (no sugar added) in your freezer.  This assures that you have a choice of fruit available if you haven’t had a chance to go to the store.  Also, a one cup serving of frozen blueberries or peaches takes a long time to eat….
  3. Use a Magic Bullet to make your shakes.  If you haven’t tried this yet, you will be pleased!  It gives your shakes a thick consistency, and no messy cleanup of a blender. If you need instructions, check here.  Try my “frappucino” hint.
  4. Be sure to exercise.  Cardio and strength training!
  5. Don’t panic if you have a brief plateau when you are eating clean.  And if you do “fall off” plan, here is help.
