Healthy Meal Plan Suggestions

Here are some meal plan suggestions that work for the 24 Day Challenge:

Lunch

  • Tuna with canola mayo, carrots, celery, cucumbers
  • Grilled chicken with steamed veggies and hummus
  • Grilled chicken salad with zero calorie dressing
  • Grilled fish and steamed veggies
  • Egg salad with mustard and a tiny amount of canola mayo on top of mixed greens
  • Leftovers from dinner 🙂

  1. Is unsweetened almond milk ok to drink in either phase?

      For best results, no almond milk.

  2. Im on day 1 of my cleansing stage, can i eat as much fruit and veggies that i want?..

      Recommended plain veggies like broccoli, lettuce, cucumbers, and those recommended in Great Foods guide. are fine, but avoid corn, potatoes Don’t go crazy with fruit and stick to the ones recommended.

  3. I was reading the comments and you said no wheat during the cleanse. But another comment said we can have Greek yogurt on phase 2. I’m on phase two can I have wheat bread now an what other stuff can I eat to finish phase 2?

      No cereal and no milk.

  5. I will be starting Phase 2 of the Challenge this Friday. I saw that you can have protein bars for the am & pm snacks for Phase 2 and I was wondering if that is any kind of protein bar or a specific one or one with certain amounts of stuff in it?

      There are Snack Bars and Fruit and Fiber bars. For best results, snack should be hard boiled eggs, 1 ounce of raw almonds. Some people do get stalled with the bars, so you can experiment.

  6. I am in day 8 of the cleanse, and so far I’ve only lost 1 lb. Is this normal? I’ve been sticking to the suggested meal plan.

      Are you following these instructions? You can use the Contact page to email us what you have been eating and drinking and taking. Include quantities and time of day and we will review.

  7. Why is greek yogurt not ok in phase 2? Isn’t it a good source of protein and non-fat?

      You can use it on Phase 2, but some people feel that they feel better after eliminating the dairy in Phase ! and stay off all together.

  8. I am on day 4 of the challenge. I made goulash with dreamfield pasts (5g) and Paul Newmans sauce green peppers orange peppers and yellow peppers, onion and hamburger. Was this ok?? I had 1 cup of it, I am afraid that I messed up. Also can you use Raspberry walnut vingerette dressing on salads???

    1. @ Michele, No pasta, no sauce and no beef on the Clenase. No regular salad dressing Here are the instructions and the FAQs.

  9. I’m on day 4 of the 24 day challenge and I absolutely love it! When do you recommend is the best time for spark? I play basketball in college but when I take it before workouts I get dehydrated. What’s another plan?

      Thanks for the positive feedback. Spark is great first thing, and you can have a 2nd whenever (not before you go to sleep, ha ha!) I actually enjoy a Spark during my workout.

  10. When making the taco salads, how much ground turkey can you use per serving?

      Not sure what taco salad you are referring to. 4-6 ounces is good for a protein portion.

  12. We are on day 2 of 24. First timers. Today I felt really sick by midmorning. Since I am not use to drinking a lot of water and in the morning we drink a lot. My body hurts so I slow down on water. Once I ate my lunch I felt a little better I started slowing drinking the water again an I was back to normal by dinner. Is my body just getting use to this, or Am I doing something wrong? I did take cattalyst at 1015 am this morning and ate 24almonds as my mid morning snack. Do you think I need to take cattalyst at lunch with more food?

      You need to take the Catalyst half hour before a meal on empty stomach.

  13. I am on day 1 of the cleanse and I see that you aren’t supposed to use dressing, even the fat free ones. I just made chicken for dinner on the grill and used some fat free Italian dressing to marinate it. Is that really bad & how would you recommend cooking the chicken?? I’m trying really hard not to mess this up but I’m confused as to why I can and can’t use.

  14. I’m on day 20 and doing great! I was wondering after my 24 days are up can I use the spark, catalyst, and Lepilean together?

      Glad you are having good results. Yes you can, and you can also continue to do the Phase 2 for more loss or just to maintain.

  15. I am on day 14…..I am down 8 lbs. I have stuck to the plan for the mist part, but after reading some of these posts, you say no low fat dressings. I’m eating veggies and fruit and grilled chicken on salads. I am using the low fat dressings. I still seem to be losing weight. Is it that detrimental that I stick with it? My biggest reason for this is to jump start eating healthier. I use to, but my job requires me to be on the road all the time, so fast food had became the norm.

      If it is working for you, seems okay, but they do cause many people to stall.

    2. hey if it is working stick with it. I used plain balsamic vingar and that worked for me.

  16. We are on day 4 of the 10 day cleanse & doing well. We have an event on the 10th day & know we will go off plan. If we wanted to do 9 days instead of 10, is there a day that would be better to leave out?

      Just try to stay on plan as much as possible that day. Then continue with the 14 Day MNS Phase 2.

  17. i’m on day 6, I haven’t lost any. I’m getting really discouraged but its hard not to. I did everything I was suppose to. I am a diabetic so there were a couple times I had to eat a candy bar (low blood sugar at work). That was maybe 2 times..What am I doing wrong?

      There are better choices than candy bars. Send us a list through the contact link of what you are eating, drinking and taking. Include quantities and time of day.

  18. Do you continue taking omegaplex with dinner during phase 2 of the 24 day challenge?

  19. Ok, so I just started the program..day 3 of the cleanse. Instructions are pretty confusing…what is LEAN meat? I have been eating chicken breasts for most of my meals..along with veggies, nuts, fruit, etc. I see people asking about chops and you said no chops..only lean pork. What the heck does that mean? Also, it says in your meal/recipes page zero calorie dressing but then no dressing??
    One more thing..what can you use to make your food more flavorful when you are preparing it? I tried mandarin orange over chicken breast, but it have taste. No salt, so can you use salt substitute?
    Im excited to see how this all goes, I have NEVER dieted.

      Pork tenderloin is leaner. For dressing use vinegar with a little olive oil, or Walden Farms. THe typical”low fat dressings” can be a nightmare with lots of added sugar and sodium, so not recommended.
      You can use a little salt. Try this method on chicken as well.

  20. Im on phase 2 of the Challenge. Can I do two meal shakes a day instead of lunch when Im on the go?

      Best to use just one and have a regular meal at lunch. I assume you meant to use for breakfast and lunch. 🙂 In a pinch, better than going off plan, but for best results, wait until after the 24 Days. At that point you may want to try the meal replacement bars for an on the go lunch.

  21. Today is day 5 of my cleanse I am down 6lbs already! I have not been doing excercise except chasing after an almost 3 year old. Should I be doing more. I saw in phase 2 it says 5-6 days 30min. Obviously excercise is good and would help but I have been a little sluggish. ANy suggestins? Also, wondering what the average weight loss for women is during phase one? (I know it really depends on person and many other factors) Just want to maximize these 24 days..plus I have an event for my husbands work coming up!

      Great results.Drink more Spark and get some exercise going. No average weight loss, depends on how much you need to lose, how clean you eat, your metabolism, etc.

  22. Why are we not allowed to drink coffee due to caffeine but the spark has caffeine? Confused:(

      It is not the caffeine, but the acidity. You also wouldn’t want to add extra caffeine while using Spark.

  23. can you eat halibut and flounder? I don’t usually like the taste of salmon.

  24. Well..I made it thu the first 10 days….had a few “hiccups” but didnt stress over it and got back on track………………………….weigh in…8 lbs so far!!! WOW cant wait for the rest of the challenge as I am gonna start my treadmill workouts again.. always looking for dinner ideas….any websites u recommend??

  25. I can’t find walden farms salad dressing in our local grocery store. Is fat free Italian dressing okay to use?

      For best results use vinegar with a little olive oil. Many low fat dressings are full of sugar and other things we are avoiding. You can order the Walden Farms dressings in bottle or individual packets.

  26. Can i use chicken broth for cooking? How about vegetable oil instead of olive oil (i just ran out!)

      For best results, avoid chicken broth and stick to spices. You can use vegetable oil in a pinch, but olive oil is the best choice.

  27. Are baked or grilled pork chops allowed the first 10 days of the plan? =)

      Lean pork only. Don’t suggest the chops during cleanse for best results.

  28. I am on day 1 of my 24 day challenge and I am a huge zucchini and peach fan… are those allowed?

  29. I am going to begin phase 1 of the 24 day challenge tomorrow. I am not a real big fruit and veggie eater but I love watermelon and green beans would these be acceptable on this challenge?

      You can eat both, but limit the watermelon and add apples, berries, peaches, other melon. When you start eating this way, you may enjoy it more than you think you will.

  30. just started the cleanse today but just not sure what I am suppose to eat. I meet with my trainer tomorrow but wanted to be sure I eat right today. I had a banana for breakfast.
    can I have eggbeaters for lunch? Where can I find the cookbook?

  31. This is crazy but this is my life…I have been
    On my 24 day challenge since Monday. I have
    Taken my cleanse , everyday, no results…..do
    You think i haven’t been taking them long enough??

  32. During the cleanse phase can i put lemon in my water? I don’t ike the taste of ater itself and i obviously can’t use spark with every glass, that would be 8 sparks a day.

  33. I am a veg who really wants to limit soy, eggs, wheat and dairy. Any great protein ideas while I’m on the cleanse? I’m eating beans and fresh caught salmon(so not a total veg!!)

      No wheat and dairy on the cleanse, so you are good. Would normally suggest eggs and tofu. Can you eat other fish?

      1. thanks – I have been eating eggwhites too. Open to other kinds of fish -yes!What would you suggest? I want to stay away from soy unless it’s fermented.

          Salmon is favorite. Check our recommended method of cooking. Same method works for other fish. Tilapia is easy and inexpensive. Drypack tuna is convenient.

  34. I am on day 10 of the cleanse, I feel great, but the scale only shows I’ve lost 2.8 lbs. Is this normal? I stuck to the rules and was very hard on myself. Im just not sure if I missed something.

      It depends on the individual and how much you have to lose. Some people lose more on the second phase (MNS)
      Glad you feel great. Did you lose some inches?

  35. Do I need the Omega during the challenge? I eat salmon at least 4x a week.

      For best results take the Omegas.

  36. The plan I was given includes using the Meal Replacement Shakes in the Cleanse phase. Why do you not use them? Will results be affected from using during the Cleanse phase?

      Some groups do use them. Our team does not since we eliminate dairy during the cleanse.
