Drypacks are a great resource for your Advocare Eating Plan. You can chose from a variety of tunas and salmon. We like the tuna filet marinated in lemon pepper. It can be microwaved and eaten warm. The great thing about drypacks is that you can always have them on hand as they have a really long shelf life. You can take them with you, and there is a lot less mess than using a can of tuna that needs to be drained.
When we first started with the 24 Day Challenge, it was hard for us to consider eating tuna or salmon plain, since we were used to a higher fat and richer diet. At that time, we created this recipe which many people that we coach enjoy. The canola mayo is half the calories of regular, and we would only use a tiny amount. We now rarely use it – that just goes to show how your tastes change when eating really healthy.
Are all Advocare products made without GMOs?
@ Whitney,
The Advocare Linked In group is having a good discussion about this topic. Do a search and you can read the response directly from one of the doctors.
What about Think Thin bars? Could these be used as a snack? 0 sugar, 20 G protein, and gluten free.
@ Nicle,
For best results, no bars on the Challenge. After the 24 Day, AdvoBars are good for snacks (or breakfast or lunch is using AdvoBar Meal).
I forgot to take my omegaplex tonight, should I go ahead and take it now – I’ve already taken the bedtime packet?
Omegaplex should only be taken with a meal. Continue on plan tomorrow.

How about Lara bar without dairy, gluten, soy, non gmo, vegan and kosher?

No Lara bars on the 24 Day challenge. They use dried fruit. Your 24 Day Challenge plan uses fresh fruit.
I believe the vegginaise has vinegar in it. Not good for the cleanse portion from my understanding but fine after day 10.
@ Mandy and Ange,
For best results, I would avoid.
@ Mandy
Original Veganaise ingredients: Non-GMO Expeller-Pressed Canola Oil, Filtered Water, Brown Rice Syrup, Apple Cider Vinegar, Non-GMO Soy Protein, Sea Salt, Mustard Flour, Lemon Juice Concentrate. Contains: Soy
It sounds very similar to Mayo with canola oil, so I wouldn’t think it would be an issue. There is also an organic option that uses soy oil instead…
That is just my opinion. : )
Canned or dry packed tuna ok on the cleanse?
@ Linda,
Either will work. Best if in water.
